งาน 2018 Melon Music Awards ในปีนี้จัดขึ้นในวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม ณ Gocheok Dome กรุงโซล เพื่อมอบรางวัลให้กับศิลปินและผู้ที่ทำผลงานเพลงซึ่งได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุดนับตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคม ปี 2017 จนถึงเดือนตุลาคม ปี 2018

สำหรับปีนี้ BTS, Wanna One, และ iKON ได้รับรางวัลแดซังไปครอง ขณะที่ BTS คว้าแดซังถึง 4 รางวัลกลับบ้านไป

ก่อนหน้านี้ Melon ได้ประกาศรายชื่อศิลปินที่ติดท็อปเทนในปีนี้ด้วย ซึ่งได้แก่ Apink, BLACKPINK, Bolbbalgan4, BTOB, BTS, EXO, iKON, MAMAMOO, TWICE, และ Wanna One
